Statues

I like statues! I have a great admiration to the artists who created them. Whenever you look at statues you can imagine how much they cost the artists to make them. At the same time, they can tell you a good deal about the persons or things they represent. So, whenever I saw statues I tried every possiblity to shoot them. Here are some pictures of the statues which I have taken recently.

Seen at Cardiff Bay: One of my most favourite statues!

Seen near Caerphilly Castle: Tommy Cooper, an Anglo-Welsh prop comedian and magician

Seen at a Shopping Mall in Cardiff: Elvis Presley

Seen on a roadside in Cardiff: No idea about the statue

Seen at Rhondda Heritage Park: I like this too!

Seen at Rhondda Heritage Park: A Painter

Seen at Rhondda Heritage Park: I smiled back at her thinking that it was real!

Let us pray...

LORD,
May I ever speak
as though it were the last word that I can speak;
May I ever act
as though it were the last action that I can perform;
May I ever suffer
as though it were the last pain that I can offer;
May i ever pray
as though it were for me on earth
the last chance to speak to you.
Prayer of Chiara Lubich, Founder of The Focolare Movement
